Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UseMoon financial products and services in Nigeria. By registering for or using the Service you accept these Terms.
Definitions
- ●Service: all UseMoon platforms, mobile apps, web interfaces, APIs, wallets, payment rails, card programs, and related features.
- ●User: any individual or entity that registers for or uses the Service.
- ●Account: the User's registered profile, credentials, and associated data.
Eligibility and Registration
- ●Users must be 18 years or older and ordinarily resident in Nigeria unless UseMoon expressly permits other categories.
- ●Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.
- ●Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials.
KYC and Verification
- ●UseMoon will perform identity verification, address verification, and any additional checks necessary to meet regulatory obligations.
- ●Accounts may be restricted, limited, suspended, or closed if verification fails.
AML/CFT and Sanctions Compliance
- ●UseMoon implements transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity detection.
- ●Users must not use the Service for illegal activity, money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions evasion.
Transaction Rules and Limits
- ●UseMoon may impose transaction, balance, and daily/monthly limits based on verification level and risk profile.
- ●UseMoon may place holds on transactions or reverse transactions to comply with law or to investigate fraud.
Fees and Taxes
- ●All fees, charges, and exchange rates are published in the app or on our website.
- ●Users are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies arising from their use of the Service.
Limitation of Liability
- ●UseMoon's liability for direct damages is limited to the total fees paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- ●UseMoon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Governing Law
- ●These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- ●Parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation or mediation.
